Notre Dame's 2022 Elementary Engineering Challenge is a contest open to all girls in Grades 6 and 7 that are interested in STEM fields - Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
This year’s challenge is inspired by the Science Buddies and Fluor Challenge of 2021. The challenge is to build the tallest free-standing tower using ONLY 40 pieces of paper, a roll of tape, and it should have the ability to support the weight of one can of beans for 60 seconds!
Deadline for submissions is MARCH 31, 2022.
Contest winners will be announced in April!
